Heathfield School fashions collaboration with renowned Parisian design institution

Heathfield School has entered into a collaboration with renowned art and design school, Parsons Paris.
Students at the Ascot-based boarding and day school for girls will be assisted in their art and design studies in a number of ways, such as extracurricular and scholarship opportunities, and fashion events attended by Parsons.
Pupils applying to study art and design at university will have their portfolios and presentations reviewed by Parsons, as well as enjoying the benefits of having a fashion designer in residence, recently graduated from Paris, to help Heathfield pupils produce, promote and present their work.
Both institutions boast a proud history of achievement in the world of creative arts.
It is more than a century since Parsons Paris was established as the first American art and design school in the French capital, the European outpost of one of the world’s highest rated institutions in the sector.
Heathfield, meanwhile, can cite alumna including Jimmy Choo co-founder, Tamara Mellon, and Isabella Blow, the magazine editor credited with discovering the models Stella Tennant and Sophie Dahl, and greatly influencing the career of fashion designer, Alexander McQueen.
